New Year, New Hike

We drove out to Shenandoah for a brisk, belated New Year hike today and got the added bonus of seeing not one … not two … but EIGHT deer! (Including an adorable younger deer!) The trail was a bit icy, but nothing compared to our hike in the same park on Jan. 1 last year!
